Tinplate coil, also known as tin-plated steel coil, is a thin steel coil plated with a layer of tin on both sides. The purpose of this coating is to provide corrosion protection and enhance the appearance of the steel. Equal-tinned tinplate refers to the same tin plating on the front and back of tinplate.
